HOW TO PURCHASE A GIFT CARD
Growing Tree Toys Gift Cards are available for purchase both on our website and at our retail location. Gift cards are available in denominations of $15, $25, $50, $75 $100 and $150 USD and are only redeemable on the website or at the retail location.

When purchasing a gift card at the store, customers can select the appropriate denomination and will receive a card holder for the gift card. A gift card purchased at the retail location may be used at that location or on the Growing Tree Toys website.

A gift card purchased on the Growing Tree Toys website may be used online or at the retail location. After selecting the desired denomination of the Growing Tree Toys Gift Card on the gift card page of the website, customers can add the gift card to their shopping cart for purchase. The gift card is shipped to the shipping address provided during checkout, with the shipment including a detailed letter of how to use the gift card for purchasing educational toys either online or in the store.

To redeem a gift card in the State College, PA retail location, simply provide the gift card at time of purchase as form of payment.

ONLINE REDEMPTION
Using a Growing Tree Toys Gift Card online is simple:

1. Find a product or products and place that product(s) in the shopping cart to begin the checkout process.
2. On the last page of checkout, customers have the option of entering the gift card information as a form of payment. Depending on the value of the gift card and the amount of purchase, customers have the option to pay for the entire order or a portion of the order using the gift card.
3. Enter the Gift Card Number and PIN in the appropriate fields.
4. Your card balance will be automatically applied to your order total.

If the order total is less than the amount on the Growing Tree Toys Gift Card, the remaining amount will be available on the card for future purchases online or at the retail location. If the order total is more than the amount on the gift card, customers will need to pay the remaining balance with an additional Growing Tree Toys Gift Card or a credit card. The remaining amount owed for the order will be displayed for additional payment information.

BUYING ITEMS THAT COST MORE OR LESS THAN THE CARD AMOUNT
If the order total is less than the amount on the Growing Tree Toys Gift Card, the remaining amount will be available on the card for future purchases online or at the retail location. Customers can always check the balance available on their cards online at www.growingtreetoys.com/giftcards or at the State College, PA store location prior to making more purchases, should they desire to know the remaining value of the gift card.

If the order total is more than the amount on the Growing Tree Toys Gift Card, customers will need to pay the remaining balance with an additional Growing Tree Toys Gift Card or a credit card. The remaining amount owed for the order will be displayed for additional payment information.

DEDUCTION OF FUNDS
Unlike a credit card, Growing Tree Toys will deduct the purchase value from a gift card right after the order is submitted online or a purchase is made in the store location. In the event that all or part of an online order is cancelled, the value that was deducted from the gift card will be added back to the card.

CHECKING A GIFT CARD BALANCE
To check the current balance on a Growing Tree Toys Gift Card, customers can go to www.growingtreetoys.com/giftcards, enter the card number and select the “Check Balance” button. The remaining balance on the gift card will be displayed. In-store customers can also ask any sales associate to verify the remaining balance of a card from the sales register.

PIN VERIFICATION
A PIN is a personal identification number that is unique to every Growing Tree Toys Gift Card and can be found on the back of the gift card under the silver scratch-off area. For added security, Growing Tree Toys only accepts gift cards when a PIN is provided. In the event that a customer cannot read the gift card’s PIN or has lost the gift card, they will need to contact customer service for further assistance.

KEEPING A GIFT CARD
Customers should keep their Growing Tree Toys Gift Card, even if there is no value left on the card, until the order has arrived and they are completely satisfied with their purchase. If a customer loses or misplaces a gift card, and returns all or part of the order purchased with that gift card, or all or part of that order gets cancelled, Growing Tree Toys will return the value to the original gift card used for purchase. If a customer is completely happy with the purchase made using a Growing Tree Toys Gift Card, and no value remains on the card, then he or she can discard of the gift card.

LOST/STOLEN/MISPLACED GIFT CARDS
Treat the Growing Tree Toys Gift Card just like cash. Unfortunately, if the gift card is lost or stolen, Growing Tree Toys cannot replace or refund the money remaining on the card. Customers that have saved or stored their Growing Tree Toys Gift Card information may still use that information to make online purchases, provided the lost or stolen card has not been redeemed by someone else.

PAYING WITH MORE THAN ONE GIFT CARD
Customers are welcome to use more than one Growing Tree Toys Gift Card to pay for purchases. To use these gift cards, customers need to apply the first gift card during checkout as a form of payment. Once the first card has been entered and a new payment amount appears, customers can enter the additional card information to apply towards the purchase.

GIFT CARD RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Growing Tree Toys Gift Cards are not returnable and are non-transferrable. Growing Tree Toys Gift Cards are not refundable for cash or cash refunds except in states where required by law.

If a customer decides to return merchandise that was purchased using a Growing Tree Toys Gift Card, or cancels all or part of an online order prior to shipment, the refunded amount will be credited directly back to the Gift Card. Customers should save their Growing Tree Toys Gift Card, even if there is no value left on the card, until the order has arrived and they are completely satisfied with their purchase.

If a customer wishes to return merchandise that was purchased with a Growing Tree Toys Gift Card to the State College, PA store location, the refunded amount will be credited directly back to the gift card.

Please Note: All items purchased using a Growing Tree Toys Gift Card are still subject to the Growing Tree Toys Return Policy, should a customer want to return a purchase. Please review this policy prior to making a return.
