CREATE A WISH LIST
To create a wish list at growingtreetoys.com, all customers need to do is create an account on the website. Once an account is created, the “My Wish List” link will appear in the My Account section area, which allows customers to create a wish list of products.

When reaching the My Wish List page, customers will have the option to enter a shipping address to associate with the wish list, which they can either select from the drop down or add via the My Account section area. This shipping address is added to the wish list so that if the wish list is shared, friends and family will have the option to ship items to this address.

Each customer account only has one wish list, but within the wish list, customers can assign toys to different recipients. This feature allows parents to create and manage wish lists for multiple children in one place, making it easy to search and buy!

MANAGING A WISH LIST
To manage a Growing Tree Toys Wish List, customers must login to their account and select the “My Wish List” section in the My Account section. Once logged in, customers can view a wish list and manage all aspects of the wish list.

SHIPPING ADDRESS FOR A WISH LIST
When setting up a wish list, customers will notice a drop-down option at the bottom of the wish list where they can select a wish list shipping address. If no address options exist in the drop-down, customers can add a shipping address to their address book via the My Account section area. After a shipping address has been created, return to the wish list page and select the new shipping address that was just added to the account address book.

If the wish list has been made public, friends and family will be given the shipping address provided by the wish list creator as a shipping option. This convenient feature helps friends and family shop from a wish list and then ship the selected items directly to the recipient – without having to check where they are supposed to ship the items. Please note: The shipping address provided for a wish list is only a shipping option for friends – they can still elect to have the items shipped to any address they please.

PRIVATE OR PUBLIC WISH LIST
With the Growing Tree Toys Wish List, customers have the option to keep a wish list private or to make it public. What does this mean?

Private Wish List: The wish list will only be visible to a customer when logged into their account.

Public Wish List: The wish list will be available for friends and family to access using the wish list search, and customers can also email the wish list information to friends and family.

All wish lists are private until the customer selects the check box above the wish list that reads “Check here if you want your wish list to be public.” When checked, a wish list is made available in the wish list search.

SHARING A WISH LIST
To share a wish list, or to make a wish list “public,” customers need to select the check box above the wish list that reads “Check here if you want your wish list to be public.” Once a wish list is public, customers can share it with friends and family in the following manner:

Wish List Search: Friends and family can find a wish list by entering the first and last name of the wish list owner in the wish list search

Email a Wish List: To share a wish list via email, the account holder needs to select the link at the top of the Wish List page titled “Email this wish list to a friend.” After selecting this option, customers will be directed to a page where they can enter a friend’s email address and a personal message to include with the wish list email. The wish list email recipient will receive an email message with a link to view the wish list. Wish List account holders may repeat this process for as many friends as like, as often as they like.

ADDING, DELETING, AND UPDATING ITEMS ON A WISH LIST
Adding, deleting and updating items on a Growing Tree Toys Wish List is easy! To begin working with a wish list, customers must first log in to their account. After logging in, management of the wish list is simple:

Add an Item: To add an item to the wish list, click the “Add to Wish List” button on any product page, and the toy will be added to the wish list. This button is found directly below the “Add to Cart” button.

Delete an Item: To delete an item from the wish list, check the box in the “Remove” column on the Wish List page and then select the “Update” button. The selected item(s) will be deleted from the wish list.

Update the Quantity of an Item: To change the quantity of an item in the wish list, customers need to change the number in the “Quantity Requested” column on the Wish List page to the desired quantity and select the “Update” button. The wish list will be updated with the new quantity.

Save an Update: Any time a change or update has been made to a wish list, customers must select the “Update” button in order to ensure that all the changes will be saved.

ADDING RECIPIENTS TO ITEMS
A unique feature of the Growing Tree Toys Wish List is that customers may add a recipient to each item on the wish list. This recipient feature is helpful in tracking which items are added to the wish list for specific children, while also serving as an important aid to friends and family looking to purchase toys for multiple children.

If an item in the wish list is not for a specific child, customers can either leave the recipient field blank or enter a generic recipient, such as “Smith Family.” To assign a toy to a specific child after adding a product to the wish list, just enter the name in the Recipient field and click the “Update” button. The recipient feature makes it easy for friends and family to look at a public wish list and buy the appropriate items for specific children for any given event!

Please Note: Items cannot be added separately to a wish list with different recipient names. In order to indicate that 2 or more children in the same family want the same item, the wish list manager must write all of their names in the Recipient field and provide the proper quantity to order. Or, the Recipient field can remain blank, but the quantity field can indicate that the wish list account holder desires more than one of a specific item.

TRACKING PURCHASES OF WISH LIST ITEMS
If either the wish list account holder or a friend makes a purchase from the wish list, that purchase will be tracked and be visible when viewing the wish list. When viewing a wish list, customers can see the Quantity Requested in one column and the Quantity Purchased in another column, for a quick comparison of what still remains to be purchased on the wish list.

The Quantity Purchased column of the wish list will display the quantity of each item that the account holder purchased, as well as the items that have been purchased by friends and family (if the list is made public). Each time a purchase is made from the wish list, the quantity in the purchased column will be updated to reflect the change in status. Please note: Generally, purchases will be reflected in the wish list in a matter of minutes.

FINDING A WISH LIST THROUGH THE WISH LIST SEARCH
To find a friend or family member’s public wish list, please use the wish list search page. To start searching, please enter the first and last name of the wish list account holder and a list of the most relevant wish list results will appear.

If the account holder has a common name, multiple wish list results may appear. Each wish list result will have the city and state of the account holder listed with the name, which should help wish list shoppers determine which gift list is the one for which they are searching.

PURCHASING FROM A FRIEND'S WISH LIST
To purchase from a friend or family member’s public wish list, simply visit the wish list from the email provided by the account holder or from the wish list search results. Upon viewing the wish list, gift purchasers may add an item or items directly to their shopping cart from the wish list by providing the proper quantity they wish to purchase in the “Quantity” column and clicking the “Add to Cart” button.

If gift purchasers wish to learn more about the products they want to purchase from a wish list, they may view the product page by clicking the link of the product name. Items from a wish list may also be added to a shopping cart directly from the product page.

To make sure that gift purchasers are aware that they are still making a purchase from a friend’s wish list, a wish list message will appear under the item when it is placed in the shopping cart. An example message reads: “Purchasing from Sarah Smith’s Wish List.” Once the order is placed, the friend’s wish list will be updated with the quantity of an item or items purchased, so the wish list account holder and any other friends or family wishing to purchase items are aware of the items already purchased.

SHIPPING ITEMS FROM A FRIEND'S WISH LIST
If your friend has selected a shipping address for their wish list you will be given the option to select this address as your shipping address during checkout. When you are on the Billing/Shipping Address page you will see a checkbox in the Shipping Address section where you can elect to have your purchase shipped to your friend’s address. This shipping address is optional, and you may still ship your order to any shipping address of your preference.

DELETING A WISH LIST
We are sorry to hear you want to delete your wish list! If you would like to delete your wish list, simply check the box in the remove column for all the items in your wish list and select the update button. Your wish list will be cleared and all items will be removed from your wish list.

IN STORE PURCHASES
At this time, we are unable to update any online wish lists – an account holder’s own wish list or the wish list of a friend or family member – for any purchases made in our store. We encourage our customers to shop from an online wish list in our store, but Growing Tree Toys is unable to update wish list purchased automatically. In order to ensure wish list accuracy, we request the account holders update their wish lists for any items that they purchase in the store. Or, if a customer purchases an item from a friend’s wish list, we encourage them to contact the wish list account holder to let him or her know of the item that was purchased in order to update the wish list accordingly. At this time, the only way to update a friend’s wish list automatically is to purchase items directly from the wish list online at www.growingtreetoys.com.
