From a parent's perspective, I have to be honest - I found these cars pricey and felt there was limited combination for play. However, my daughters (5 and 2 when these were received as a birthday gift) so seem to enjoy them, especially popping the tires on and off. They enjoy mixing the colors and creating different vehicles (sport car, full size car, truck, etc). I do appreciate that it is wood and would make a nice toy to hang on to for the next generation, as well.
