I was leery of purchasing this for my daughter several months ago (age 3), fearing my house would be inked within minutes, but surprisingly, this is VERY washable. My kitchen tablecloth was coated in stamps, as was my daughter, and both cleaned up really easily. :) It is a lovely set, the right size for little hands, and quality images. We love it, as we love all Melissa and Doug products.
