I purchased these along with the Calico Critters Nursery set as a starter/tester kit to see if my 3 yr old daughter would like the Critters toys (she likes tiny toys and has the finger dexterity to play with them pretty well). So far, so good. My only criticism is that the clothes are removable, which would be plus, except that they are very difficult to put back on -- even for my 40-year-old fingers, much less for a 3 year old. So inevitably my daughter removes the clothes and then brings them to me to replace. Otherwise I like the Critters line and will probably buy some more in the future. I think they are a nice, childlike, and more aesthetically pleasing alternative to other "miniature" toys like Polly-Pockets.
