This is a great little - okay, not so little - track that you can configure in numerous ways. The track itself is made up of these small, interlocking pieces in various colors (thankfully, they come pre-connected in good size lengths). Because of the way the tracks snap together, there's some flexibility to what shape they can take... it's pretty ingenious, frankly. There are hills/tunnels, a ramp and even an automatic turn-around included which provide lots of flexibility. I've enjoyed playing with the toy as much as my son. While fairly minor, my grumbles with the toy are primarily two -- first, while the track has raised sides, it's not uncommon for one of the battery-powered cars to jump the track... and they always seem to end up under something that is really hard to move or reach under. You'll just hear them whirring away with their little wheels spinning and then have to figure out exact where the noise is coming from. And that brings me to my only real grumble. There isn't that much to interact with on the toy. You can raise the ramp if you want to and make it into something of a jump for the cars, but for the most part, the fun is in setting up and testing the track. After that, you turn on the cars and let them drive around and around (with the occasional thrill of hunting them down ;).
