I have to be entirely honest in my review - when my daughters received this as a gift recently, I had high hopes, having heard all the hype. And they were very interesting to begin with - they have a unique movement across our tile floor and are fun to touch. But they lost my daughters' attention (ages 6 and 3) quickly thereafter. It is my understanding their are other accessories and a variety of other Hexbugs... perhaps with the rest of the collection they are more entertaining. But as a stand-alone toy, they just weren't all that fabulous.
