A large drawer on top opens up to reveal a spacious compartment and a galloping horse that spins to the tune of "Home on the Range." The inner area of the lid is mirrored and the lid closes securely with a latch. There is another area on the bottom that opens, as well as a "secret" spot on the side. All four sides and top of the music box are ornately decorated with a pastoral scene, featuring graceful horses and other friendly animals.
