While Gymini does feature music and lights, a mirror, and hanging toys, these items address the stages quite differently. In the first stage, 0-2 months, Gymini plays 10 minutes of Mozart, encourages head turning with the mirror, and stimulates baby with colors, patterns, and rattling with the toys. The second stage, 3-4 months, introduces baby to nursery rhymes and lights that encourage head lifting and touching, the lifting of the head to see reflection, and hand-eye coordination and manipulation with the hanging toys. The final stage, over 5 months, will introduce baby to “cause and effect” through musical and light rewards, a mirror that strengthens baby’s head and shoulders, and pulling and playing with hanging toys.
