It's a simple "toy", but it looks just like pictured, and we are anxiously waiting for the delivery of our butterfly larvae any day now, so we can watch them grow and release them in our garden.

I purchased this for my nephews for their birthday a few years ago and they were SO excited. I opened it and had already pre-ordered the larvae so that my SIL wouldn't have to fuss with that or pay for shipping (the butterflies may be "free" but their shipping is not), which I recommend if you're giving this as a gift. Kids do NOT like to wait for their critters. They got them within days of their gift and were so excited to watch them grow and change and release them.
