I was so excited to get this beautiful wooden toy at my baby shower, and I couldn't wait until my baby was old enough to play with it. Well, at around 6 months we gave it to him, and he wasn't terribly impressed. He gained some interest as time went on, and at around 8 months when his sixth tooth was coming in, he really started to take to the toy for chewing. I think the toy needs a little *something* else, but for some babies, it could be perfect. It's very durable. My one year old has almost 10 teeth, so he's constantly teething with full force, and this toy barely shows any teeth marks, which I think is impressive.
