Everyone enjoys Magformers, they are hard to put down and I find myself fiddling with them while on the phone or anytime they are nearby and my hands are empty. My son and I have made houses with pools and sunrooms, barns and silos, car showrooms and mechanic bays...really there is no limit to what your imagination can build. We started with this set which is very colorful and are building ( you really can't buy just one set, they are very addictive) We have 80 pieces and counting. They are very sturdy and will last (I think) forever. When the magnets are stacked a magnetic field can be created that repels an additional magnet that is not oriented properly, but we are using that as a teaching point on magnets and polarization. Highly recommend, a favorite at play dates.
