I have bought two of these calendars, and we love them. As a homeschool family it makes a great educational tool. But I also love the fact that the kids can add their activities and see what is going on for the month. It is bold and bright and it really is a great tool for kids. What better way to learn the days of the week then on your own calendar! I think the only thing I would like to see is the ability to buy the little pieces- the year, and activity tabs, extra. That way you don't have to buy a new board every couple of years- you could just buy the pieces for the new year. Overall a great purchase!

I purchased this calendar for my daughters two years ago, then ages 4 and 1. Obviously, they were too young to grasp the concept. Now they are beginning to understand, though mostly they love to play with the magnets and admire the pictures. I will say they are certain to take notice when a birthday or holiday is marked. It is very well made, though I do wish it came with some extra numbers or more blanks to write-in numbers, as some of ours have gone missing from time to time. Overall, though, I would recommend this product.
