My children love this cart. They also loved the cart we had before this one, which lasted about 20 minutes before they broke the first thing on it, and maybe six months before it was rendered totally unusable. This one, they can use to play store (amazing, right?), but they also can use it to crash into laundry basket towers and chase each other and, when I'm not looking, ride on. It's held up beautifully!

Very sturdy and a favorite or our daughters. Pre-assembled a plus. On the down side, its a bit heavy and has some anti-roll over features that make it hard to go from floor to carpet, or over a threshold. That can be viewed as either frustrating, or a learning moment.

We looked at the plastic shopping carts and opted for this one. In addition to being as sturdy as a full-sized cart, it has an automatic braking system so the young ones can't even try to take it for a joy ride. My granddaughter started "shopping" the minute we were done assembling the cart (which took less than 5 minutes).
