While I was a bit disappointed when we first received it, I thought they would be magnetic. We got the hang of the strong velcro. The kids love to make their cookies while I make their real cookies in the kitchen. It's so life like and we just love them!

I purchased this for my niece's 2nd birthday. She loved it! The pieces are easy for toddlers to handle and she didn't get bored. My two sons (ages 18 months and 5 years) enjoyed playing with it as well.
