We got this toy when our son was nearly 6 months old, and he loved when we (his parents) played with it in front of him, but he wasn't able to push it down for another month or so on his own. It's a sturdy toy, that's for sure. Our baby loves to drop it from his pack & play while he's playing, and also SLAM on the button, and it's still going strong after about 6 months.
