My son likes to do puzzles before he goes to bed and this is great puzzle for evening. Not only is it Thomas, but it glows in the dark. What kid doesn't like glow-in-the-dark stuff? The recommended age on this puzzle is 5 years, but my son was able to do it at 3 years old. The pieces are big enough for little hands to manipulate. Because the puzzle is a night scene, there are lots of similar colors (low contrast) which may cause difficulty for a child who doesn't have a lot of patience or experience doing puzzles.
