Timeline Discoveries Game
Instead of asking "what came first, the chicken or the egg" ask yourself "what came first, the discovery of Mexico or the discovery of DNA?" Puzzle out the chronological time frame of discoveries of scientific and world importance like these with the Timeline Discoveries Game from Asmodee! To play, one card is placed in the center of play with the date showing, making it the chronological starting point for the entire game. Then players, each with an equal number of invention cards placed face down to not see the date, must place a card where they think it falls in the chronological time frame by date of discovery. Once a card is placed, it is flipped over to see if it was placed correctly. If it is correct, the card stays; but if the player was wrong, the card is discarded and the player adds a new card to their pile. The first player to place all of their cards correctly wins, but beware … with each successful card placed it becomes more difficult to add a new card! Fun for 2-8 players.
