Description
Spelling is simple with Wooden See & Spell from Melissa & Doug! Kids will learn to spell basic three and four letter words by placing brightly colored, solid-wood letters in the self-correcting cutouts on two-sided wooden boards. The word puzzles allow children to spell the name of the picture painted on the board, which supports word recognition while having fun! The set includes 20 brilliant pictures and enough wooden letters to create more elaborate words when the ones provided have been mastered. This wooden set comes with a sturdy wooden storage box that has three different compartments and measures 14.375"x10"x2."

I bought this for my 3 year old, so he can start getting used to the alphabet, however, my 7 year old daughter can't get enough of it. She loves to find the letters and spell out the words. It is too easy for her, but she helps my little guy and they work on this together. I love it. Nice quality. Great Price.

My kids love this toy! My 3yo uses it as a puzzle, and my 5yo is learning sight words and learning spelling, as well as how to differentiate lower case "b" from lower case "d". My one complaint is that there are some letters that never need to be used, and my children sometimes get frustrated. Could be useful if pieces get lost, I suppose!
