Review:
This clock shape sorter is recommended for ages 3 and up, but I got it for my daughter when she was 1. She was interested in other shape sorters at the time. I thought this one was cute, and I love that it's wooden. It also has proved multi-purpose. At age 1, my daughter was most interested in the shape sorter aspect and honing her motor skills by placing the shapes in the correct slots. About 18 months, she became interested in numbers and used this toy as a counter. She also started learning some simple shapes, which she can identify on the clock. Now at age 2.5, she's starting to show an interest in the hands on the clock (having noticed that it looks like our wall clock). For us, it has been a long-lasting, useful and educational toy. Recommended!

I recently brought this as a b-day gift for my friends 3yr. old daughter and she loved it....I myself was very impressed with the size, nice colors and shapes were cut very nicely...The name of each shape was listed on the back of the clock which was most helpful...My friend stated her daughter has almost mastered matching the shapes in each slot....I myself will buy my son one of these clocks...Thanks for a great product.

Purchased the Melissa and Doug Clock for our two year old (birthday Feb 1) and within two days he was able to put the shapes in the proper slots. This toy is definitely one that will "grow" with the little one. At first, the child will learn shape concepts, numbers and then as they mature, the significance of number order and eventually how to tell time. Numbers, colors, shapes...all concepts that will be MOST stimulating for the young mind. Our little two year old, now has an infant brother and am sure this toy will be a universal one for some time in their household. As a grandparent, definitely recommend this "CLOCK". it is easy to take as a travel toy too....has so many options for play.

We love this puzzle. We have used it for learning numbers up to 12, shape sorting, puzzle, and also to begin to tell time. The puzzle is extremely well built, all wood and nicely painted. This is something you will keep for years, I highly recommend this.

We have had this for some time, and it is a nice wooden puzzle. It is very sturdy and the kids really like it. There is a disconnect between the difficulty of the puzzle (not very) and my children's interest in learning to tell time. I think it would work better if the puzzle were a little more difficult, but overall a nice toy.
