This is another great touch and feel puzzle from Melissa and Doug. I love the lion in particular for his soft, furry mane! My friend's son has this puzzle and my daughter loves to play with it every time they have a play date! It offers a great way to review the names of the animals--in this case, more exotic animals--and the different textures of each animal are really fun for little, exploring hands to grasp.

I love these puzzles, and this one is nice for the variety of senses to which it appeals -- touch, sight and sound (and who knows, probably taste too!). This was purchased for a niece, but my own kids have enjoyed similar puzzles. Probably good for kids 1-3 years old.
