Review:

My 1 year old has had Freddie the Firefly from birth and has played with the toy a few times in the last year. Toy is a good size and definitely worth the price. It was well made and has lots of different textures and sounds to stimulate baby. As cool of a toy as it is my daughter had little interest in the toy.

Review:

I got my 1 year old Sophie the Giraffe when she was teething at 6 months old. I had seen and heard that Sophie was an awesome teething and soothing toy and in our experience it was true. My daughter is now 1 and still uses and plays with Sophie. I would suggest trying this for any teething child. I love that it is safe and natural since my daughter is putting this toy in her mouth. The cost may seem a little high but it is worth every penny. I would suggest getting a leash or something to keep Sophie from getting lost or dropped on the ground when out. Not a toy you want to lose.

Another great wooden food play set from Melissa & Doug. I gave this to my 3 year old on her Birthday and she was so excited to have a new food play set. The set comes with toppings which are small circles and can be a worry for children under 3 who put things in the mouth. This play set is well made and I love that it comes with a wooden box to keep pieces in. My only complaint is that the box does not have a top. Birthday Cake set is a great food play set and worth the price paid.

I have come to love Wooden toys especially Melissa & Doug. I love that you can get such lasting good quality toys for kids that they can enjoy over and over again. My 3 year old loves to use this to make pizza to hand out to everyone. Ages under 3 in the house need to be watched when this toy is being played with as the toppings are small and end upon the floor and in little mouths. Pizza Party is worth the cost and worth buying for children.
