My nephew and son both have this item. While my son is still a little too young to string together the pieces he still loves to set them up and play with them. the farm pieces are so cute and colorful but the paint will chip with use.

Bought for my niece. She absolutely loved feeding the animals and putting them to bed. the only complaint about this item is that the pieces are very small and are easily lost.

I purchased this marble run for my nephews fourth birthday! He absolutely loves it and spends hours playing with it. While he is only 4 and the age recommendation is 8 years old, he still enjoys playing with it. Con's to the product are that some of the plastic pieces are fragile and "snap" easily, this may be where purchasing for older children may be smarter. Also, there is no instructions or ideas on how to build the maze so it is up to you to figure out a proper configuration. Pro's Limitless ways you can set up or change the marble maze, my nephew is never bored with the maze. Once it is set up it occupies the children for hours. My nephew is constantly asking for the motorized elevator accessory now, so it looks like that will be our next purchase.
